In recent years Derry Camogie have won the All-Ireland Intermediate Camogie Championship, progressing them to senior ranks and later reaching the Very Camogie League Division 2A final at Croke Park. Followed with wins throughout the championship Derry proved they can compete at senior level.

2025 was a year of mixed emotions as they made a league final but could not hold senior status. However, successes at underage shows growing potential for Derry to turn their senior breakthrough into a vision to be a serious contender at senior levels in years to come.
